在〈 形鑄一切由我〉（Materialised Solitude）系列中，我用空間來回顧及省思獨處經驗。對我來說，獨處提供了一個反思過往、覺察自身狀態的時間與空間，讓我能夠重新了解自己，並重新定位自己在世界中的位置。

 

這個反思的空間是抽象空間，是一種個人思想的精神領域。它與我們身體實際所處的物理空間有所區別，但兩者其實是相互關聯的。芭芭拉・克魯格（Barbara Kruger）曾經談到，空間塑造我們，如同我們也在塑造空間。對我來說，物理空間因此不只是我們所處的環境，它也可以承載並影響我們的感知，而我們的經驗與行動也會反過來賦予空間不同的意義。

 

我在這系列的作品中描繪了許多空間透視圖，來暗示人在不同場域中所建構的自我反思空間。在這些空間透視圖中，我置入了許多過往作品的影像，來暗示過去經驗對當下自我感知的滲透與影響。

 

這些過往作品的主題與概念，多聚焦於對生活環境的觀察與心理投射，因此在這個新系列中，它們也象徵著個人與周遭場域之間的互動，以及人在個人空間中的行動與思索。這些過往作品原本詮釋的是一個人以孤寂的視角所觀看到的世界；當它們成為這個系列的影像元素，被重新置入探討「獨處」的新語境時，也形成了一種對過往經驗的再詮釋與自我延續。

 

過往作品的影像在這個系列中被傾斜、彎曲，並被重新運用、重新敘述於新的語境中。這個手法涉及了我對於挪用概念的思考與實驗。「挪用」原本經常透過對既有文化產品的重新使用與詮釋，對價值體系與表徵體系提出批判；而在我的實踐中，我挪用的則是自身過往的作品與經驗，並將它們作為素材重新使用。

 

換句話說，我將自身的生命歷程與創作歷程視為一個可以不斷回訪與挪用的檔案庫，也將「挪用」這個原本帶有對抗性的藝術策略，轉化為一種自我反思與自我生成的創作方法。

 

這種早期作品與後期作品之間持續形成的對話與互文關係，也回應了個人生命歷程的延展，以及人在不同階段對自身經驗的重新理解與自我更新。

In my Materialised Solitude series, I use space to look back on and reflect upon experiences of solitude. Solitude provides the time and space to reflect on the past and become more aware of my own state of being. It allows me to understand myself better and to reconsider my position in the world.

 

This reflective space is abstract, a mental realm of personal thought. It differs from the physical space our bodies occupy, but the two are interconnected. As Barbara Kruger observed, ‘spaces form us as much as we form them.’ Physical space is not simply an environment that we occupy. It can shape our perceptions, while our experiences and actions can give different meanings to the spaces around us.

 

I create several perspective drawings to suggest the reflective spaces that individuals construct within different environments. Within these spatial drawings, I incorporate images from my previous works to suggest how past experiences continue to permeate and influence our present sense of self.

 

The themes and concepts of these earlier works focused on observations of my surroundings and psychological projections onto the environments around me. Within this series, they come to represent the relationship between the individual and their surroundings, as well as the actions and reflections that occur within personal space. The earlier works originally presented the world as seen from a perspective of loneliness. When they become visual elements within this series and are repositioned within a new context concerned with solitude, they take on a sense of reinterpretation and continuity with my past.

 

The images from my previous works are tilted and curved, reused and retold within new contexts. This process relates to my exploration of appropriation. Appropriation has often involved the reuse and reinterpretation of existing cultural products to challenge systems of value and representation. In my practice, I draw on my previous works and experiences, reusing them as materials for new work.

 

I view my life and artistic practice as an archive that can be revisited and appropriated. I transform appropriation, originally associated with strategies of cultural and ideological resistance, into a method of self-reflection and self-generation.

 

This continuing dialogue and intertextual relationship between my earlier and later works reflects the unfolding of individual life, and how we reinterpret our experiences and renew our understanding of ourselves.
